What a fun weekend...

Its been a while since I posted.. but I had to post of what a great fun weekend Clay and I had in Tucson. Clay got invited to play in the Police Fire Olympic Games this year on a softball team made up of people that work with him. It was so much fun. We left on Thursday morning and took our kids to meet my dad and traded him our expedition filled with 5 kids and enough clothes to last the weekend for my moms little blue beetle bug.. We headed to Tucson and they headed to the ranch...(Who won on that exchange?) We got to go to Tucson for a few days and just go to ballgames.. Well anyone who knows me I LOVE THIS.. It is what my life was growing up and brought back so many memories of going to soooo many ball tournements in Prescott.
Clay played 2 games on Thursday and 2 games on Friday and we just got to hang out with some of the funnest people I know...I love the guys that Clay works with and their families.. We just had a great time. Although I felt like we were in Mexico instead of the United States it was sooo fun.. The highlight of my trip was that Clay and I drove up to Marana and visited with Chris and Sarah Reed.. It was sooo much fun and Chris made us the best breakfast..It was fun just visiting with them for a little bit and seeing whst Cute kids they have.. Although I think Madox could out eat Clay...lol.. He is so dang cute.. Thanks Chris and Sarah.. we then returned to the field where the championship games were to be played and it was raining sooo hard that they cancelled all the games and we headed home.. I didn't care because I was ready to see my kiddos... They weren't to excited for us to come home, they were having way to much fun at the ranch.. and Aunt Paulas... Kennedee ditched the ranch and stayed at Paulas with her favorite cousin Landon... So THANK YOU mom and dad and Paula for watching them.. They had a good time and are already asking when they can go back...
Thanks Clay for sacrificing your body so I could have a good weekend....Love ya...

I Resign!!

I am officially tendering
my resignation as an adult
I have decided I would like t accept the
responsibilities of an 8 year old again.

I want to go to McDonalds and think
that its a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle
and make ripples with rocks.

I want to think m&ms are better than
money becuase you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a
lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple.
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables,
and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you
didn't know what you didn't know and didn't care.

All you knew was to be happy becuase you were
blissfully unaware of all the things
that should make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world if fair.
That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.

I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life
and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again.

I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes,
mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive
more days in the month that there is money in the bank,
doctor bills, gossip, illness and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of simple hugs, a kind word,
truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and
making angels in the snow..

So.........here's my chequebook and my car keys, ,
my credit cards, and all my responsibility.
I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further
You'll have to catch me first, 'cause,
"TAG! YOU'RE IT."

The funny things kids say..

I have to write this down for future refrence to Tate. This morning he came sat by me on the couch while I was yes, blogging. He looked at me and asked when he was going to be a father? I said when you get married and have kids. He looked at me and said ya but could you tell me exactly how many days that will be. I started laughing and said it will be sooner than you think.. He is always saying something out of the blue.

A New Year!

Well Hello to the blogging world again. My husband as felt pitty on me and got me internet again. I have been here quietly looking at everyones blogs and not bothering my poor picked on husband. He came in and said " man this blog thing is the best thing ever, You haven't bothered me for like 2 hours." Well YA!! If he would have thought of that along time ago before he got in an argument with the internet people I would have left him alone ALONG time ago.
It has been a while since I have been on and have missed it so much. The Clay Hensley Family is doing so good. We had the best holiday season with family and friends. It was my 1st Christmas with Clay working and I know it won't be my last. My kids were all happy Christmas morning and very thankful for the things they found.
I am trying to do better this year and actually stick to my goals. I want to spend more time with my children my husband and spend more time growing closer to my Father in Heaven. I want to be a better friend, sister, daughter, mother, and wife. Not taking for granted the things I have been blessed with.
I can't believe that Keltcee will be 11 years old tomorrow or that my baby will be 3 in Feb. Time goes by so fast and can change in an instant. So I plan on being on here more regularly and see what everyone is up to. I hope everyone has a great day..

Trip to the Dentist..

About 2 weeks ago Keltcee started complaining of a toothache. So I called the dentist which was on a Saturday and he called me in some antibiotics and made an appointment for Monday. I took her in and they said it was just a tooth coming in and that it would just run the course. So we went home and she never got better. She kept complaining of her chin hurting so this morning when she woke up her chin was swollen and her right jaw. I called the dentist and they got her in today and she is going to have to have root canal done on her front tooth. You see about 2 years ago my "tomboy" daughter was playing football at school and got her tooth chipped by a young man attempting to catch the ball. Well the tooth that got chipped is fine it is the one next to it that is dying hence the swollen jaw. I feel so bad for her.. When your kids complain of a toothache make sure the dentisit gets the right tooth...
The dentist is so nice. He is not charging me for the appointment or the 3 xrays they took today. What a relief.. since he didn't catch it in the first place...
