Happy Birthday Rylee!!!

Happy Birthday Rylee!! Just wanted to put a few pictures on here of our little cowgirl..She turned 10 on October 19th. All she wanted to do was get boots and ride a horse. So her dad made it happen...Here are a few pictures of her day. She had a ball and she looks sooo cute in her Wranglers if I say so myself...

I love these 2 pictures becuase they capture her. She absolutely LOVES horses and in her mind right here I think she is somewhere else in an open field riding...

Happy Birthday Rylee...We sure do LOVE having you in our family...Your a great girl who is alot of fun to be around. I love that you love to give hugs..I love that you know every Taylor Swift song there is...I love that you have a passion for something...I love that you read your scriptures at night...I love that you are a good friend to people...I love that you are my daughter...I hope you had a great day...

Happy Birthday Tate!!

I just wanted to wish my bugga boy Tate a Happy late Birthday. His birthday was on August 4th and we were out of town and very busy so this is the first I could get on. Tate is such a sweet boy. He is one of the most tender hearted kids you will meet.

He is so fun.... I used to wonder if he had a sense of humor cause he was ALWAYS so serious. He has relaxed some.lol...He LOVES to be outside and ride his bike. He is a fast learner and is very determined when he puts his mind to something he wants to learn.

He is a GREAT BIG BROTHER to Gavin. They get along for the most part and if they are fighting Tate us usually the one that gives in. He is LOVING Kindergarten and I can already tell a difference in him at home.

I am so GLAD that Heavenly Father sent me this REDHEADED boy even if its what I feared the most. Tate has a very special spirit about him and he gives the best hugs. He is a very good little boy and I can't wait to see what he makes of himself in the future.

THANKS Tate for being such good boy and adding so much joy to our home. You are a special little boy and add so much to our family. We love you and hope you had a great birthday...

The Day from HELL!!

Well sorry for the heading...hope I didn't offend anyone..lol... I just had to document one of the worst days of my life.. It started with me waking up at 430 AM...yes AM because I was soooo nervous for our ballgame. Keltcee would be pitching and she is doing so good. I woke up thinking of different positions to put the kids in and just stressing. I finally got up and cleaned my kitchen and got breakfast made. Keltcee came out and we were talking and eating our breakfast and decided we would go out and just warm her arm up a little. I was out catching for her enjoying our time together when my stomach just didn't feel right..
I told her I would be back in a second and before I could even make it to my bedroom to get Clay (who was still sleeping)...I was doubled over in sooo much pain. It just kept getting worse. Clay asks if he needs to call the ambulance and I told him NO WAY...(personal reasons of why I don't like the ambulance).. well we got a hold of Dallas and he said to go to the clinic and get checked out... well I was getting mad because I was suppost to be going to the ballgame, I didn't have time to be sick...
Clay took me to the clinic and the Dr. told me I needed to go to the hospital...WHAT?? I don't have time, AREN'T YOU PEOPLE LISTENING TO ME.....I have a ballgame to go to...So very reluctenly I got in the car.. I was bawling because of pain, I was bawling because I wanted to go see my daughter play.. I know I am a baby...
My sweet mom was here going to ride with me to the game, so she took Keltcee and Rylee and headed to Round Valley and the other kids went to my wonderful neighbors...Clay and I headed to the hospital. We got there and were the only ones in the ER.. but it still took FOREVER.. Clay said that was only because I was in a hurry.. So they get me back and start asking whats wrong and I WAIT and WAIT and WAIT some more.. I was about to go crazy.. I asked Clay if we could just leave I would be fine. I hate hospitals...I have had 4 hernia surgeries and my gaul bladder out...I was not wanting to stay in there any longer.. FINALLY the doctor came and told me they were going to do some blood work and a ultrasound.. I asked him very nicely if they didn't have to poke me with a needle to please DON'T.. well he had pitty on me and didn't..
I had 2 different ulrasounds and they came to the conclusion and I had a cist on my overary that had ruptured.
I was still hurting but wanted out. The whole time Julie is texting us about the game.. I asked the doctor if we could please hurry I had other things to do...he was dying laughing and said yes you can go.. BUT...you have to take it easy for a couple of day..
So Clay and I got in the car and headed to RV..we made it in the 5th inning and were there to see us lose 11- 10.. It was a sad game that we should have won. Keltcee was so worried about me that she was to stressed to pitch. Once I was there she did well. We are done for now with ball but can't wait for it to start again..
Its not exactly how I planned my day to go but I am thankful for Family and Friends that helped me out...
I am feeling good right now. The doctor gave me a shot in the hip that burned like crazy..but said it would help. I don't recomend this to anyone...

1 dad 5 kids and a human sling shot...

Ok..I know its been a while since I posted but life has been crazy. We finally got out of school and have been enjoying the summer. We have been going to 8 ballgames a week since April.. and loving it I might add. I love ball and love that my kids love it...

Well last night I was able to go to Heber and visit with alot of friends that I haven't seen in a while at Alexis Nelsons bridal shower that Paula did and amazing job with.. Clay was so nice to let me go and just hang out while he kept the kids.. I might add that he got called out at 2:30 AM and didn't get home until 2:15 pm.. but he still was good with me going.. As I was there at Paula's I get a phone call and its Clay... he says..." Where are you?" So I am thinking did he think I would be home... ? so he procedes to tell me I need to come home that Rylee has broken her arm.. My first thought was that dang trampoline.. So I hang up and head out..

I get a phone call about 10 minutes later and he is telling me I better not drive fast...lol.. I didn't but I didn't go slow either.. Well I called him back and said " how did this happen." He responded by saying..."I will tell you when you get here." Ok that had me thinking something other than the trampoline but what...

Well I get to the clinic and my brother in law was working and they were back in x-ray.. and sure enough it was broke. Even I could see it on the picture and so you know it was bad. She is in a splint for about 5 days to let the swelling go down and then she wants a BLUE cast.

So I finally asked what happened and Clay procededs to tell me that Keltcee was making a human sling shot and he told her someone was going to get hurt... Well then he saw that she was doing a pretty good job and decided to let each kid have a turn.. Well sure enough EVERYONE including Gavin did it without getting hurt and Rylee was the last one.. She jumped a little late and landed on her back and arm.. It knocked the breath out of her and so Clay ran over there and she started screaming and holding her wrist..Clay knew right away it was broke.

So now that tournement is here for her minor baseball team Rylee won't be able to play.. She is sad about that but enjoying the attention she is recieving from it all.. She is such a FUN girl and

What a fun weekend...

Its been a while since I posted.. but I had to post of what a great fun weekend Clay and I had in Tucson. Clay got invited to play in the Police Fire Olympic Games this year on a softball team made up of people that work with him. It was so much fun. We left on Thursday morning and took our kids to meet my dad and traded him our expedition filled with 5 kids and enough clothes to last the weekend for my moms little blue beetle bug.. We headed to Tucson and they headed to the ranch...(Who won on that exchange?) We got to go to Tucson for a few days and just go to ballgames.. Well anyone who knows me I LOVE THIS.. It is what my life was growing up and brought back so many memories of going to soooo many ball tournements in Prescott.
Clay played 2 games on Thursday and 2 games on Friday and we just got to hang out with some of the funnest people I know...I love the guys that Clay works with and their families.. We just had a great time. Although I felt like we were in Mexico instead of the United States it was sooo fun.. The highlight of my trip was that Clay and I drove up to Marana and visited with Chris and Sarah Reed.. It was sooo much fun and Chris made us the best breakfast..It was fun just visiting with them for a little bit and seeing whst Cute kids they have.. Although I think Madox could out eat Clay...lol.. He is so dang cute.. Thanks Chris and Sarah.. we then returned to the field where the championship games were to be played and it was raining sooo hard that they cancelled all the games and we headed home.. I didn't care because I was ready to see my kiddos... They weren't to excited for us to come home, they were having way to much fun at the ranch.. and Aunt Paulas... Kennedee ditched the ranch and stayed at Paulas with her favorite cousin Landon... So THANK YOU mom and dad and Paula for watching them.. They had a good time and are already asking when they can go back...
Thanks Clay for sacrificing your body so I could have a good weekend....Love ya...

I Resign!!

I am officially tendering
my resignation as an adult
I have decided I would like t accept the
responsibilities of an 8 year old again.

I want to go to McDonalds and think
that its a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle
and make ripples with rocks.

I want to think m&ms are better than
money becuase you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a
lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple.
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables,
and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you
didn't know what you didn't know and didn't care.

All you knew was to be happy becuase you were
blissfully unaware of all the things
that should make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world if fair.
That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.

I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life
and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again.

I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes,
mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive
more days in the month that there is money in the bank,
doctor bills, gossip, illness and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of simple hugs, a kind word,
truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and
making angels in the snow..

So.........here's my chequebook and my car keys, ,
my credit cards, and all my responsibility.
I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further
You'll have to catch me first, 'cause,
"TAG! YOU'RE IT."
